Entice Hummingbirds to Your Yard with Live Plants
Hummingbird Plant Sale
Bring the magic of hummingbirds to your own backyard!
Join us on Sunday at the Sedona Hummingbird Festival for our Hummingbird Plant Sale, featuring a beautiful selection of nectar-rich native plants that hummingbirds love.
Sunday July 26, 2026 9am to 1pm — or sellout if earlier.
Location: On the patio between Hummingbird Central and Hummingbird Hangout (at Sedona Red Rock High School, 995 Upper Red Rock Loop Road, Sedona)
- Expert-picked to grow well in the high desert climate
- Attract hummingbirds year-round
- Most are unappealing to mammals — no need to worry about them getting eaten
- Priced to sell: we want you to take these plants home and enjoy them
- Limited quantities – arrive early for the best selection!
Whether you’re just starting a hummingbird garden, looking to expand an existing backyard oasis, or you only have room on a balcony for a few special plants, our plant sale is the perfect place to find local favorites including penstemon, salvia, agastache (hummingbird mint), and hesperaloe.
These plants are all lovingly grown and fostered by Sedona Hummingbird Festival volunteers. Many of them are the “offspring” of plants growing in Sedona gardens. Others were grown from seed just for the Festival. And many of them are donated by our sponsor, High Country Gardens. Thanks to High Country Gardens, some of the varieties we will be selling at the Festival are unavailable anywhere else in the Verde Valley.
Take this opportunity to build or expand your hummingbird garden, and register it as an IHS-Certified Hummingbird Haven.
Let your garden hum with life – plant it, and they will come!
