🏵️ About Tickets
Do I need to purchase tickets? I thought admission is free?
Admission is free for all Hummingbird Central activities: the Marketplace, hummingbird feeders, Kids Day activities, and Photo Contest display and voting. If you will be participating in only these activities, there is no need to register or purchase tickets. Tickets are required for presentations and off-site activities such as garden tours and hummingbird banding.
When can I purchase tickets?
Tickets for the 2025 festival go on sale on April 16, 2025. Online ticket sales close at 11:59pm on July 14th.
If I didn’t buy tickets online, can I still buy them?
Yes, they will be available for purchase at the door, subject to availability. Most activities will have a higher ticket price at the door. Tickets do sell out for certain activities, so we recommend getting your tickets online in advance.
Can I purchase whatever activity I want separately, such as banding, garden tours, and workshops? Or, do I have to buy a ticket to the presentations as well?
Tickets are available individually for whatever event you wish to attend. Easy customization for your convenience!
Are there any discounts on tickets?
If you purchase tickets in advance online, they are generally less expensive than at the door.
If I cancel can I get a refund?
Refunds are available if you cancel and request a refund on or before July 1 by emailing our registration desk at ihsfestival@irej.us. After July 1 we cannot give any refunds.
Where are the prices for the various activities?
Ticket prices for the activities are listed on the corresponding pages on this website.
How will I get my tickets for the various activities?
After you complete your online ticket purchase, you will receive an emailed receipt that shows all the activities you registered for. Please bring it with you to the event.
When you arrive at Hummingbird Central at the Sedona Performing Arts Center (SPAC), come to the registration table. There you will pick up your bag with your name on it with all of your wristbands, directions to the locations, program, and everything you need to know about the Festival.
Do I have to fill out a separate waiver for each person coming to the festival?
No, you can fill it out in your name and then purchase as many tickets as you want.

The presentations, Hummingbird Marketplace, Photo Contest display, and Kids’ Day activities are all located at the Sedona Performing Arts Center (aka Hummingbird Central).

Will there be food available?
We will have a food concession on site offering snack and sandwiches.
Is admission to Hummingbird Central free and open to the public?
Yes! The Hummingbird Central is free admission to anyone.
Can I bring my dog to the festival?
No. While we love dogs, we cannot allow them at any festival activities. This includes Hummingbird Central. Please keep your dog at home.
🌹 Off-Site Activities
How will I know where the Banding Demonstrations are located?
You will receive the directions in your registration packet when you arrive at the Festival.
How will I know where the Garden Tours are located?
Most of the gardens are accessible only via our hop-on, hop-off shuttle service. Your registration packet will contain directions to one garden and two hummingbird hotspots that you can drive to.
How will I get to the birding tours?
Meet at the Sedona Performing Arts Center parking lot 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. The guides will have signs for the different tours. Be prepared to carpool as there is not adequate parking for everyone.
Are there restrooms available at the offsite activities?
No. There are no restrooms available to the public.
Are the off-site activities handicapped accessible?
In general, no. However, the Saturday and Sunday banding location is handicapped accessible.
